How winners emerge at Film Lab Africa Reality TV show

In pursuit of talent development, skill and youth empowerment for job creation, self-reliant, Film Lab Africa reality TV show has concluded a 25 day training exercise for 48 contestants qualified for the training.

At the end of the training in Lagos contestants confessed being happy and excited as a result of the quality of training they received which will boost their careers.

In a media chat, winner of the maiden edition, Film Lab Africa reality TV show, Crown Udia, aka Crownly, a scriptwriter, interior decorator from Akwa Ibom said, “The journey had transformed him and given him the confidence to face bigger challenges in the future. “Initially, I wasn’t sure the show was real, but I decided to give it a trial”.

Crown said, I’ve always believed that the sky is big enough for every bird to fly. Coming here has impacted me positively. I’ve learnt more on how to be disciplined and focused, and I now leave this house a changed person.”

When asked if he was confident to win, Crown said that every contestant hoped to win, I maintained strong faith from the beginning. “Winning was a dream come true and a stepping stone toward greatness”. Crown who won Toyota Camry further said that he plans to use his prize to further develop himself and give back to the community.

1st Runner-Up, Ojeikere Ohiosimuan, aka D Consultant is an entrepreneur and director from Edo state, said, “Serving as the first Head of House leading 48 fellow contestants in the early days of the showed my strength in leadership skills. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me a lot about responsibility, patience and accommodating others. I’m proud that I made it this far and that I’m someone my community can look up to. I’m going back home a better man.”

In addition, 2nd Runner-Up, Elo Obokia, aka Eno, from Delta State, said, “My experience is life-changing. I’m a beauty therapist and actress, I considered myself a winner despite not taking the top prize. 25 days in the house was a beautiful one. I’ve seen a lot of growth in my career and character. I’m leaving this show better than I came in. I’m so grateful to God and to everyone who supported me.”

Camp Director and representative of organisers of the show, Dr. Victory Emuejekarohwo, praised all 49 contestants for their dedication, hard work and transformation throughout the show.“They’re all winners. “They’ve done things here that they couldn’t do before. I see greatness in their future.”

Apart from the star prize, Crownly and other top contestants will star in an upcoming movie, with him taking the lead role. This, to the Camp Director, is only the beginning of many more opportunities for the participants.
