Politics; in recognition of her humanitarian role in our society, via her NGO outfit and group of companies, Dr Damilola Ade-fetuga has been given an ambassadorial award by the board of trustee, Nigeria Women of Integrity Per Excellence.
According to the BOT, Chief Amb. Cletus Amaraegbu, this consensus agreement was reached to the National Executive of the organisation after examining and validating Dr. Demilola’s leadership roles, social responsibilities, your magnanimity and humanitarian gestures which have impacted and affected the lives of Nigerians positively, especially children and the less privileged in their weak and vulnerable states.
Amb. Amaraegbu said, “It is worthy to note that Nigeria Women of Integrity Per Excellence is an organisation that is aimed and focused on impacting into the lives of the less privileged and vulnerables across the nation. Their scope of impacts cut across every tribe, region, religion and gender in the country.
The Nigeria Women of Integrity per Excellence invited her to join their movement and inspire Nigerian women to join politics.
Responding to the gesture, the Chief Executive Officer, Eliel Group of companies. Dr. Damilola Ade-fetuga, “said with the administration of President Ahmed Tinubu, I see more women participating in politics. I also commend President Tinubu for including women in his administration through increased appointment, it is positive step towards gender inclusion”.
According to her, I believe that my previous contributions at a low key level were sufficient.
However, she now sees the importance of full participation in politics and as well encourages more Nigerian women to participate, while encouraging them to remain resilience and focused in their endeavours. She plead to join politics to contribute her part to the development of Nigeria.
She advised women that the only way they can be relevant and recognised in politics is to be out there. “It is also a lesson for me too, I have been running my business for 20 years now, I do my things and it ends there. Meanwhile, I have been the brain behind many successes out there. I’m brand promoter, but behind the scene, I create content on TV but behind the scene, but people like what I’m doing in terms of humanity, they are the ones pushing me to join politics, and I have accepted to do that”.
