A great year is rarely built alone. More often than not, it is shaped by the quality of relationships around you. Talent matters, effort matters, but relationships amplify results.
Many of the opportunities we enjoy in life come through recommendations. Someone mentions your name when you are not in the room. Someone opens a door you could not open by yourself. This is why quality relationships are not optional, they are strategic.
The Bible gives us a powerful example in the life of Joseph. While in prison, Joseph used his gift to solve problems by interpreting dreams. Though he was forgotten for a season, the day came when his value was remembered. One recommendation changed his location, his status, and his destiny.
We also see this in the life of David. His relationship with Jonathan created a bond that outlived Saul’s reign. Years later, David asked if there was anyone left in Saul’s household to whom he could show mercy. That relationship brought restoration and favor to another generation.
These stories teach us something important: Relationships preserve access, create remembrance, and release favor.
However, relationships thrive on value. You cannot keep looking for people to recommend you when you have nothing to offer. Joseph had skill. David had results. Value is what makes relationships sustainable.
For 2026 to be great, ask yourself:
What do I need to succeed this year?
Where can I find the people who can help me?
What value am I bringing to the table?
Position yourself intentionally. Attend quality seminars. Be present in rooms where growth happens. If you must change your environment, do so. Destiny often locates people through positioning.
David did not meet his destiny helpers in the bush, he met them on the battlefield. You must go where your destiny helpers can recognize you.
Build quality relationships. Bring value. Position yourself.
Your next level is closer than you think.
