Film Crib Africa Reality TV show is initiated to promote youth empowerment for job creation and self-reliance. It also targets talents, skill development among young people. There are so many young Nigerians with talents undeveloped.
The first edition ended as winners went home with prizes ranging from cars, cash and deals to promote their careers.
In a media chat the winner of the first edition of Film Crib Africa Reality TV show held in Lagos, Israel Refua aka Easy said, “This is an experience youths need at a time like this to develop our career and become better in the society. As the winner of the competition, I won a car, cash prize, movie deal among other prizes. I am short of words because it wasn’t easy but God made it easy for me. I feel so happy right now. I won’t say that it was my power, but I want to appreciate my fans who believed in me and saw something in me, and they decided to back me up to do my best. I gave my best and the rest is history”.
According to Fefua, the competition was a good experience for me. “From here, with all that I have been taught, my going out there will impact society. I have a dream of opening my fashion school and by doing that, I will definitely meet people and with that the society will be stable because I believe a win for one is a win for all. I should be able to transfer this knowledge into the lives of other people and I believe that the world will be a better place for people”.
1st Runner Up, Tilly Tamara Priye said, “I am happy because it was not easy getting to this point. I won a consolation prize of N500,000 and I feel good. During the competition I discovered the love and gift of people. While in the house, I learnt patience, multiplying my commitment, dividing my distraction and subtracting excuses and having faith always. My message to my fellow contestants, especially those that left before us is that they should never lose focus”.
At this juncture I want to appreciate the management, they are a loving people and I encourage them to continue to empower our youths”.
2nd Runner-Up, Promise Igwe Enyindah aka Kanani, said, “I won a consolation prize. I am glad because it wasn’t an easy journey, among 45 other contestants emerging as the second runner up.
“I learnt many things while I was in the house. I learnt how to be tolerant and live in harmony with other contestants. It was a good experience, after here, I will put more effort into my acting career and that is a big win for me”.
Ndukwe Ikechukwu emerged as the most outstanding contestant in the house and he won cash prizes for it. “It wasn’t easy but I had to keep going because I knew that I was heading to a destination.
One of the tasks that made me win the title was marking a product and also making sure that a particular product was sold. I completed the tasks with my sales ability.
I really appreciate the organisers of this show for giving us the opportunity, exposure and public enlightenment. I won the OKF Energy drink award for the task in the house and emerged as the fourth position at the end of the competition.
Film Crib Africa television reality show started with 46 contestants and they stayed in the house for 26 days. These contestants have proved their mettle. All the ten finalists will have the opportunity of featuring in a movie production this month.
