JMG, Mitsubishi Celebrate 10-Year Partnership, delivering power solutions in Nigeria

JMG, Nigeria’s leading supplier of power solutions, proudly marks a decade of successful collaboration with Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V., part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group, in delivering high-performance diesel and gas generators across Nigeria.

Over the past 10 years, this partnership has seen the deployment of more than 20,000 kVA of Mitsubishi-branded heavy-duty generator sets, powering key infrastructure projects across sectors such as telecommunications, manufacturing, logistics, and commerce.

Among the most notable projects fulfilled under this partnership are installations for MTN Nigeria, Engeepet Manufacturing, and Dangote Industries, where JMG provided diesel and gas power systems up to 4.5MW output in some locations. These generator sets are renowned for their durability, reliability, and performance under extreme conditions, meeting the demands of Nigeria’s critical operations.

Rabi Jammal, Group General Manager of JMG, commented, “This 10-year milestone with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is a testament to our shared commitment to engineering excellence. Together, we have brought resilient and efficient power solutions to Nigeria’s most demanding industries. We look forward to scaling new heights as the country’s energy needs continue to grow.”

Morten Brix, General Manager of Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe B.V., added, “Our partnership with JMG has been instrumental in extending Mitsubishi’s legacy of power innovation into West Africa. JMG’s local expertise and execution excellence make them a trusted partner in delivering our world-class genset technology to critical projects throughout Nigeria.”

As the partnership enters its second decade, both companies reaffirm their dedication to delivering cleaner, stronger, and smarter power systems, including gas-powered generators and hybrid energy solutions, to meet the evolving energy landscape in Africa.
