In order to discover, develop new talents especially among the young people of Odukpani and its environs, the management of Twin Concepts in partnership with the Chairman, Odukpani Local Government Area, have deemed it fit to move towards discovering and as well nurturing the talents of the indigenes of Odukpani for empowerment, job creation and self-reliant.
Odukpani Got Talent is a dynamic talent show that seeks to discover, nurture, and showcase unique talents of individuals from Odukpani and its environs. The essence of the programme is to provide a platform for aspiring artists, musicians, dancers, comedians, actors, actress, and other creatives to shine, while promoting cultural diversity, creativity, and community engagement.
Its objective is to identify and celebrate the hidden talents in the area, while fostering a sense of community and promoting the Odukpani’s rich cultural heritage.
Interestingly, major focus of the event includes, talent discovery and development, community engagement and participation, cultural promotion and preservation, and entertainment, fun etc.
The upcoming talent and cultural heritage programme will be open for participation for residents of Odukpani and surrounding communities between the age 5 and 45 years old.
During the period of this programme, however, it will feature a series of auditions, workshops, and live performances, culminating in a grand finale where the winner will be crowned “Odukpani’s Got Talent.”
According to the organisers, this empowerment programme is going to be one of its kind in the local government, and pave way for more talent opportunities for the indigenes of Odukpani and its environs. “They will learn how to attach values to their cultural heritage and economic benefits.
The youths will be encouraged to develop their talents to create jobs, reduce unemployment, crime and insecurity. When young people are engaged they become useful to themselves and the society at large. This is what we intend to do with this partnership”.
